Talisman Characters

Please list things you think work well in the characters, are balanced, and that you find enjoyable.

You may also put things you do not think work, are imbalanced, or need to be tweeked.

For example, list character X and your issue with it or what you liked especially good about it.

Any real problems to look for?

I find it annoying that "Spellcasting" or "Wizard" type craft oriented characters don't always have at least one spell. In fact, the three spell card limit per character rule in the game went out the window for me a few months ago. More of these craft oriented characters should have had psychic attack ablilities, in my opinion. Would have been nice if more of the enemies had strength and craft qualities with the player being able to choose which way to attack them as well.

I don't like Characters, who has high one parameter, and low another. While "Craft Characters" may have even interesting abilities, when their Strength is very low, then Characters, who has high Strength are annoying. Basically they even don't need any abilities at all to have greater chance to win the game than other Characters.

There is only a few stuf I would like to change, because you don't want to end up with a bunch of owerpowered chars. Characters who have adventurecard limits in their special abilities is not so good like dwarf (+1 in cave) and or ministrel who only can take 1 specific follower or sorceress who are not able to take certain followers.

Also Pray is something 3 heroes use and I feel that there should be more places you can pray and it's strange that a knight can have better pray than a Priest. I feel that the priest should have +3 and knight and instead of his special ability to auto kill spirits he sholuld have a skill that allows him to trade in spirit trophies with value 4 to 1 craft. This would give a good incentive to choose priest over knight and Monk for example.

Also I feel that the assasin should be remade, Me and my friends play like many others that he only can assasinate enemys which he lands on not when he draws them. Imo the assasinate skill should instead of what it does now make so that when he attacks characteres and uses assasinate he should take a life and be able to choose an reward. This and also giving him an evade skill om some sort like everytime he get's attacked he can roll 1-2 and to evade. These 2 skills would be much better than what he has now.

Also a lot of cred to the artists of the revised version + expansions this game is awesomly beutiful.

This, for me too. The only problem I have with characters of this game. Otherwise, I am ok with all characters and I don't think there is any "broken" character.

I suggested solutions for the Dwarf and the Minstrel in the thread "Reviewing some characters" in the homebrew forum.
