Yeah, it's fun to use the digital media during rpg's. My gaming table is next to my PC desk to I turn one screen more to the players to show some flavour images. This is always cool if you can find great lanscape picture that more or less are the area you're describing. A mate fo mine who GM's RIFTS even did an interactive mission briefing my webspace to show us, which was pretty cool.

Ever since then I've been scouring the web for windows tablet PC's as they're coming out. One that really caught my eye (lidless, wreathed in flame) is this one: The Wetab

Best one I've seen so far that's affordable, if only it would come out like, now!

450 € is not that affordable i think, i would shell out 100 to 200 on such a thing though, so a few more years for me i guess. It is a really nice tool to read pdfs though...

True, cheap it ain't, but 100-200MB are more e-reader prizes and I'm looking for a far more capable thing. I've had a Cybook E-reader since quite and the thing is very good for reading books, in terms of clarity, battery life and such. But loading a colour-to-B&W page from an 8MB A4 pdf can easily take 20 seconds to load per page as the thing has a specific e-reader screen... A mate of mine (the RIFTS gm) even has been thinking about connecting a projector to his laptop for rpg presentations... >:-)
