Some news about Arkham nights can be found here.
It seems like a brand new lovecraftian game will be played at this convenction. No further expansions for AH to be released in the immediate future, then?
New game announced
could by Richards game, mentioned some years back:
"Beyond Arkham I am working on several new designs. Trail of the Brotherhood will be published by EOS Press later this year. It has been held up for some time due to production issues, but is moving well now. It is a Lovecraft game in which one player is a Cultist Leader traveling around the world influencing various cults to join him in summoning a Great Old One. The other players are working together to stop him."
Trail was supposed to be published by Eos, but they look dormant, so maybe FFG are doing it now?
I hope it's a boardgame and not another **** card game with recycled art.

I know I read somewhere that there were no big box expansion planned out past Innsmouth. (Although the post seemed to indicate that they had planned through Innsmouth as they were in the earlier stages of game design for AH, so I'm sure that could change if they come up with a new big-box idea). I don't see how a new game set in the same universe could preclude more AH expansions. The Mists Of Zanaga Runebound expansion was released just a couple months before DungeonQuest came out.
The Trail of the Brotherhood sounds neat. It would be cool as a globe hopping type of adventure set in the 1930's. Seems like from the description it could play like Fury of Dracula (multiple players attempting to hunt down and stop 1 "evil" player). Might also be cool if the game somehow related to At the Mountains of Maddness...a Game of Antarctic Survival and Lovecraftian Horror or something...
