Hello
I only have the core set so i dont know if there are cards that give benefits/disadvantages to players who do this, but can someone explain me why you would want to allocate power to characters instead of your house?
thanks

Power on characters are protected from claim for power challenges. If somebody wins a power challenge against you and you have 0 on your house card... they get nothing (unless unopposed). Some characters also gain abilities of benefits from having power on them. The downside... if the character dies, you lose the power.
i seee.....so i was playing this all wrong. i thought that power challenges took power from the power pool....well better know now than later:)
so the only way to win power from the power pool (besides special abilites) is to create situations where you benefit from unopposed challenges?
thanks!!
When you win Domination the power comes from the pool too.

It's easy to remember, just see carefully what's written on effect: "claim" - you take from the pool, "move" - you move form card to card.

yes Domination also gives it yeah:)
but it makes sense...every other challenge benefits the winner while giving a disadvantage to the loser...strange i didnt see it that way when it came to power challenges....this is what happens when you're the only player that cared to read the rules:)
