Awesome Aquisitions.

you ever have that player who asks for something so cool you want to give them a bonus on the aquisition table just for that?

today the sceneshal/aquisitionist of our groop, a ratling sniper who runs his spies out of the kitchen asked to aquire a squad of oathsworn bodygaurds to be his kitchen staff. i added a +20 bonus to his profit factor due to awesome. (also having peer(workers) and other talents and things that would tell him where to find them... at least, that's what i told him it was for...

I think that a player who bothers to ask for something cool/in character and that would only contribute to the story should definitely benefit from the GM's "help" at times. I certainly would try to find a way to help them acheive their objective even if it meant a series of adventures / endeavours to get there.

If it sounds like something which would benefit everyone's enjoyment, rock on I say!

I agree, (well obviously) have you given out bonus's to any of your players for having such a bad ass idea you just wanted it to happen?
