Has anyone else had trouble with the binding on their Creatures Anathema? I got it when it first came out and it looked a little dodgy back then, but last game I opened it up to check some stats and the pages split away from the spine. None of the pages fell out, but it looks pretty grim. Everything else FF has done has been great I was just wondering if this is widespread or I got a dud.
Creatures Anathema Binding
With the FFG books its kindof hit an miss. Some copies of CA are just fine, others arent. I have a bum copy of DotDG other people dont.
Took a year, count yourself luck.
If you get in touch with FFG's Sales guys, they might get you another copy. I know they've done stuff like that before in the past if it was a manufacturing problem rather than just wear and tear.
The Creatures book is the only one of my DH/RT books (other than the DH rulebook, but that's a Black Industries one) that is coming out of the spine. Every time I open it I hear it cracking. It'll all fall apart one day.
BYE
I'm having the exact same problem, myself. I own every book. But CA is the only one that is doing this. I did, however carry it home in -14 c. weather.
I've got to say I've had similar binding issues, but not with CA.
My copy of the core book (black industires) and Inquisitors Handbook (which i think is from the first FFG print run) have both basically disintigrated.
It just seems like bad luck if you get a duff binding.
I have one copy of the Corebook from the BI prints with a bad spine, and my CA is also beginning to separate. The odd thing is I've hardly touched the thing since I bought it when it first came out. One time it was fine, then the next my Orks was trying to bust loose.
