On page 190 of Into the Storm in the grey text box titled Chaos and the Common Citizen, Revisited it says. "In general, only particularly important NPC (such as those with the Touched by the Fates Trait) should gain Corruption....". I have looked in the other Rogue trader books and can't find any discription of this trait, I can only think it is in Dark Heresy. If it is or if I am missing it some where in the Rogue Trader book could some one give me a page reference or a discription of the trait.

Touched by the Fates was introduced in Lure of the Expanse, available only to (important) NPCs. It grants them a number of fate points that they can burn or spend as the GM desires, and allows them to benefit from Righteous Fury.

The details are in a sidebox on page 125 of 'Lure of the Expanse'

It basically makes them PCs. They get fate points and count 10s as criticals just like PCs do.
