I pre-ordered through my local game store and I went in to see if it came in. The Owner told me he hadn't heard anything about it, but would call the distributor. Now he is telling me that its been delayed until october even though the Fantasy Flight website says its been released. People on the forums say their gamestores have it, but now my local gamestore is starting to get rude about it. Are their regional problems going on? or is my local gamestore just being Ignorant?

Grit your teeth. Here in the UK the Core Rulebook was massively delayed so I know how you feel. Ultimatly it probably isnt your games stores fault, though to be fair if they mislead you on the realistic expectations of delivery you might want to order via amazon next time, which is a shame because smaller distributers need your money more. At least in the UK when I pre ordered with Amazon, the long delay gave me a concessionary discount...

My game group is in Limbo because, into the storm would give us so much more in the way of optione the way that our campaign is going. Im sure it will be worth it when it arrives.

What part of the world are you in? I got my copy last Friday, and I am in Miami. I think your local store Forgot to order it for you, so they are telling you it has been delayed. Unless you live overseas, you should not have a problem getting a copy. I would go down there with Hellpistol in hand and make my point clear to them "YOU FORGOT TO ORDER IT. JUST ADMIT IT!" Another possiblity is they are behind in their distributor payments and their orders are not being honored. Let me tell you, it is a GREAT book. GREAT! I would be most violent if mine were purloined. If I were in your place, I would be LIVID!

Check another store if you can. I had to check with two before I snagged a copy. The store I finally bought it from had only ordered two copies.

The fifth store I called had it and they had only ordered or allowed to order two copies. After two hours of driving through three towns I finally got it. Though I live in the US so it might be different in another part of the world.

They could be ordering off of Amazon to save money. I know of other game stores that do this. Unfortunately it also means they will get it in rather late. Say...Octoberish?

Any idea how long Amazon are delayed by from general release? They are still saying mid october.

Over here in Germany i got my copy of Into the Storm nearly about two weeks ago and my store told me they have Deathwatch already in stock but are not allowed to sell it before September 13th. Usually we get FFG Books after US and UK in Germany. Strange phenomenon. (excuse my bad english)

My gaming store doesn't have it yet. They hope to get it somewhere in Octobre at the soonest. Of course the distribution in my country is not as efficient as yours may be. With luck I can get a copy this weekend when there is a gaming event going on with distributors from other countries come to as well.

If that fails, I will be buying them in Germany next great convention they have there.
