I don't have a BGG account, but I think the wording on the questions is a bit confusing. For the first question, you should just ask either what is the maximum number of expansions they are at all playable with or how many expansions do you recommend to play them with - now the question seems to ask for something arbitrary inbetween these two options.
To illustrate:
How many other expansions do you recommend to play CotDP / KiY with? My answers: 1 / 0
What is the maximum number of other expansions you think CotDP / KiY is playable with? My answers: 6 / 2
What is the maximum number of other expansions you would recommend adding to CotDP / KiY? My answers: Huh / No idea?
Also, the satisfactorily part of the second question is a bit too vague. You should just ask, do these two expansions work particularly well together. I mean, you could say the vast majority of them work satisfactorily with each other, but only a very few do it well.
Overall, I'd say that Kingsport Horror is the only one that generally works well with other expansions (King in Yellow is the exception).

I know there's only fifteen votes so far, but I'm already a little confused by the results regarding maximum number of expansions....
If, for example, only 2 out of 14 people think it's okay to combine KiY with more than three other expansions (I'm guessing because of Act dilution), why do 8 out of 11 people think that it's okay to combine Lurker with all six other expansions, including KiY?
Sorry guys. I was trying to be broad and general.
The first question asks of you: if someone wanted to know the maximum number of expansions you would recommend mixing with King in Yellow, what would you say?
If your answer is "never mix in other expansions," you'd vote it as "0 (play only by itself)."
If your answer was, "you can add two expansions, but no more" then you'd vote a "2."
If your answer was, "it's best with up to one other expansion, but you could probably add a second expansion" then you'd vote "2."
If you're the kind of person who voted a 0 on King in Yellow, then I would not expect you to check any of the boxes that list King in Yellow coupled with another expansion. I have no way of automatically disabling certain answers depending on your response.
If you rate King in Yellow as 0, it's still okay to rate another expansion (let's say Dunwich) as "6" because you're saying that King in Yellow doesn't take away from Dunwich; it's King in Yellow that suffers. Of course I wouldn't expect you to check the "Dunwich + King in Yellow" button in the second question, since you claim that King in Yellow only works on its own.
The second question is asking which combination of two expansions would be "okay" for you. You would be comfortable playing these two together. You wouldn't be unsatisfied with either the combination of theme or conflict/dilution of mechanics. Don't consider other expansions when just considering these two.
For example, I checked Kingsport + Innsmouth because I constantly tell people that each one makes the other better. I also checked Kingsport + Dunwich because Kingsport is better when there are more unstable locations. I did not check Dark Pharaoh + King in Yellow because I do not feel that these work together: the themes are split, and there are no gate bursts.
When I work out the math for the diagram, the numbers get boiled down A LOT. Let's say people vote that Lurker goes well with any other expansion and King in Yellow only works well with just one other expansion. In the diagram, I'll represent that you shouldn't add King in Yellow to a game that has Lurker and something else.
