So,
I've been seeing a dominance by the humans v the cylons. I've only played 6 games, but the humans have lost only 1. And that was when I and the other pilot were both Cylons and revealed after the first jump (he revealed first so I thought, why the hell not and revealed also) with a massive Cylon fleet and no protection, the humans limped along for a bit, but ended up dying with no pilots.
However, the humans seem very resilient. Maybe too resilient.
Spamming the Pegasus Engines/FTL is very powerful. Coupled with the extra ablative armour that Pegasus supplies to Galactica I struggle to see the Cylons being a real threat to the humans on a regular basis. It seems too easy for the humans to limp along and then make that final FTL to victory.
So, I was thinking, when a human player is executed the humans lose a morale. But if the Pegasus is destroyed, they lose nothing especially if it occurs towards the backend of the game. Why shouldn't the Pegasus lose morale (1 or 2) when it is destroyed. It might make the human players really think long and hard about taking damage to Galactica, and provides a reason why Cylons would be trying to destroy the Pegasus as well.
Thoughts?
