Sorry if these questions cause your brain to implode but I need them answering quickly as I want to play the game properly asap.

1. In the description of Dogs of War it mentions rolling and attacking a yellow ranked unit. Do they mean blue?

2. Rules say you can discard 2 order tokens of a similar type to order any unit. I just want some clarification as its quite a small inconspicuous sentence in the rules. Can I discard 2 green order tokens to order a red ranked unit? Can I also discard 2 valor or morlae tokens to do the same?

3. The next is kind of muddled but I would like some clarification on ordering, moving and attacking.

This is because on p12 of the rules under 'Command Phase' it says something along the lines of: Each player selects one action (order token, leadership card or pass) in turn and executes that action and that this keeps going untill both players pass. To me that means Player 1 selects an action, then player 2, then back to player 1 and so on until they both pass. I understand this as the following: Player 1 moves and attacks with a unit, then player 2, then back to player 1 and so on. Obviously this depends on the number of order tokens each player has as well as using leadership cards.

However, later on under 'Instruments of war' it says you can't attack the enemy with any unit until you have moved ALL the units you have ordered (or want to move). It later says under the section of 'Attacking the Enemy' that once you have attacked with a unit you can then attack with another ordered unit and then another (providing they are ordered). Have I misread something here? The 3 discrepencies I have are:

A: It says in the Command phase section that you choose an action and execute that action in turn with the other player

B: It says you can't attack untill all of your units have moved (or those you want to move). Do you make all your movements one after the other then player 2 does the same, or does player 1 complete all their moves and attacks and leadership cards then player 2 does the same, or does player 1 move, then player 2, then player 1 and so on?

C: It says that after attacking an enemy, you can attack another and so on. To me this means that you carry out all attacks available one after the other. If this is the case then it contradicts the 'Command Phase' rules saying you choose one action in turn, execute it and then player 2 does the same and this keeps going until both players pass.

Basically for this question I would like a short example of 2 players ordering, moving, attacking, using a leadership card and passing please.

Thanks.

1. Yes

2 Yes. You can turn in two identical order tokens to order any one of your active units. Trading in two valor tokens is inadvisable. Trading in two morale tokens is also inadvisable unless you need just one more attack to finish off an enemy unit or desperately need to get into position.

3. You play an order token on your turn. You move the ordered unit, then you attack with the ordered unit. (keep in mind that moving and attacking are optional, but if you want to move, you must do it before you attack.) it's now your opponent's turn.

Then your opponent plays an order token. He moves, then attacks. It is now your turn.

You play a leadership card which allows you to order two units. You resolve both movements of your ordered units, then you may attack with both ordered units, if able. It is now your opponent's turn... and so on and so forth until both players pass consecutively and the round ends.

Hope that helps.
