Hey all, while we are waiting for the perpetual imminent arrival of the core book i have been trawling the interweb for a background drop ship type thing for a death watch group. came across the Storm Raven Gunship a sort of baby brother of the Thunder Hawk.

everything is a bit vague about this and fans seem to be making mock ups from bitz bins. I was wondering if any one had some more info and maybe stats for this thing. Is there an entry in the Blood Angels latest Codex as suggested in some internet posts?

It looks ideal for landing and supporting a small group of marines.

point me to the topic about this if i have missed it.....

According to some wikis it is mentioned in the 5th ed. blood angels army book.

Don't know if there are some stats for it in there, but according to the infos I read it's transport capacity is not bad

There are strong suggestions in the codex that Grey Knights are the only other chapter known to have used them, as they are a fairly 'new' design, and needs thorough testing.

in summary though, capacity is 12 marines (slightly more than standard LR) and a dreadnought, has average armour all round, and is immune to to the extra damage from melta weapons. you could imagine it as a cross between a land raider and a land speeder.

experimental? check. transport? check. fire support? CHECK. Could it be used for deathwatch... OH YES.
