My friends and I are very new to Talisman, and just like in other games we get into fights about the rulings of certain things.
The owner of the game landed on the Warlocks cave and got the quest to deliver (discard) 2 gold. He didn't have two gold at the time. So he went and beat me up twice, taking two gold from my vast pile of riches. Here is where we get the problem.
As soon as he got the two gold, he said his quest was complete, teleported himself back to the warlock's cave and discarded his two gold, taking a talisman.
1) Is the quest completed when he gets two gold or must he first discard the gold?
2) Can you discard the gold anywhere or must it be on the Warlock's cave?
3) Can you discard the gold the same turn you take up the quest(Say at the end of your turn, before the next player goes?)
