Card of the Week I miss you!
I was about to post the exact same thing. There's been a lack of news overall lately for GoT. I was hoping for some previews of KotSt or upcoming chapter packs. Two weeks straight now no card of the week.
with the imminent release of Kings of the Sea, maybe FFG is setting-up-us-the-bomb in the form of a new Deluxe Expansion due out in winter?
I was thinking of adding this thread too. I was really missing them

New Mel looks pretty intriguing (groan), it'll be hard to choose which one to use. We now have 3 good versions of Mel, not to mention multiple useful versions of all the other 'big-name' Bara characters - it'd be nice to see other important characters (Dany anyone?) get similar love.
I'm sure a new Dany will be in the deluxe edition for Targaryen, Mother of Dragons maybe or whatever they choose call it.
We need a new Dany - hopefully long before the Targ expansion. she is a popular and critical charatcer and for years we have been stuck with an unplayable version. its getting silly already.
And yeah - its been dead around here lately.
You know I too was thinking it was strange that Dany only has 1 version a couple of days ago. I mean for such an important character in the stories she is very poorly represented in the LCG. And I hope we don't have to wait til the Targ box to get a new version.

FFG employees usually get to take some time off after the Con I have heard (since I believe they have a vacation black-out the weeks/months before).
Great Mel, finally a non-power-rush one!!! And a one-sided plot...pretty cool.
I think we have all complained about 18 versions of some characters and none of others...*groan*
Yeah I know that complaining about there being too many/not enough versions of certain characters is nothing new, I'm just surprised to see a new version of Mel so soon after the last one.
And I think the thing with Dany is especially strange because in the books Targ really only have 4 characters of any note: Drogo, Dany, Viserys and Jorah (you could maybe add barriston too I guess) . The rest are fairly forgettable characters with just a few brief appearances. And Dany herself is by far the most important of them. So it does stand out as especially odd that there's only one copy of her when houses like Bara and Lanni, who have tons of high-profile characters, are far better served.
Or to put it another way, there's less versions of Daenery's Targaryen, mother of dragons, rightful heir to the iron throne, than there is of freakin Janos Slynt

lol, best argument yet for a new version for Dany. She had a bunch of versions in the ccg era.

5KE Dany was huge. I would be very satisfied with a re- release of her.
By the way.... like always when this kind of discussion comes up.... Where is a LCG version of Ser Gregor?

I've been playing a month - how on earth did I not notice that there wasn't a card for Ser Gregor! This game is a sham! *throws table over - cards fly everywhere*
