Silent Forge - a quick question & shall I post a Spoiler in English or no?

By Wytefang, in Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game

I noticed that some kind soul has put up a spoiler, of sorts, for the new BP "Silent Forge."

Should I put up one in full English or are we good with that one? Just wondering.

Also, a quick question about the Verena card. What's the point of it? I'm not seeing anything much it's useful for other than saving your leftover resources into the next turn. Am I missing something?

As a sidenote, this seems like one of the less interested battlepacks - fairly disappointing, all things considered, though perhaps with a bit more playing time of the new cards, I'll see some hidden gems. Who knows.

i need a English Versionhappy.gif

I'd like to know if there are some issues apart from wording (card names or text rules).

Hehe, ever since the spoiler for Descendant of Indraugnir came out officially, this has been my most anticipated BP. HElves finally getting some oomph (3x 4P and 3x 2P units). Just for the HElf cards this is a must-buy for me, hopefully they will be enough to drag HElves to respectable level, or at least off the Rock Bottom and into the general mix.

I know what you mean - there are a lot of coasters in this BP - but Outpost is obviously ridiculously good in the Thrower archetype - and Reclaiming the Fallen is insane. I mean, look at that. Just look at it.

The new HE counterspell is pretty solid. Dwarves would probably rather run that than Disdain, for example.

The Descendant packs a crazy punch. A single unit swinging for 8 is a lot, even if 4 is indirect. It does die to MRoS though, which in some ways is just as well.

Esl'ian is worth remembering in case corruption-centric decks are ever useful. Unit hate is pretty bad right now so obviously he can go on the shelf with the rest of Chaos (thanks Thrower!).

Battle Pilgrims gives Skaven another kick in the nuts, but they were on the ground anyway.

Dwarf Slaves is borderline playable for DE that is trying to ramp to 3 devs for Treasure Vaults but obviously it's no Ancestral Tomb.

Yeah, good points, Clam.

I'll try to get an English spoiler up if I can get the time later tonight.

...preocupado.gif...u shuld put fake spoilers up to calm the storm. gran_risa.gif

I was pretty pleased with this pack. I got a handful of new DE cards to play around, and i can't wait until i get March of the Damned for the HE deck I'm planning.

What's the timing on 'In Search of Slaves' and 'Stand your Ground'?

Both are "Action:" and the active player has first chance to use. Of course, being actions, opponent can play his card in response, thus resolving it first gran_risa.gif . Also, from the wording, seems Stand Your Ground can be used later on during the turn (say you lost a unit during Phase 0, can SYG during Phase 3), while ISoS has the word "just" in it, like Disdain, so would probably need to be played as the first card after the unit hits discard.

Thanks for the timely response.
