Thanks Marius for the article. Beautiful card. Same stats as LCG Cthulhu One. He has the bludgeoning ability, a usable Ancient One. But where does he rank among best all time Ancient Ones?

It terms of Cthulhu versions The Thing That Should Not Be was wondrous in its time.

The Black Goat of the Woods version of Shub is probably still the best overall.

In the current environment this new Cthulhu is haute couture for the decerning destructionalist and reinforces my desire to continue to run Yog-thulhu as my main deck. Great art too!

Hastur and Cthulhu make 32 and 33. Both were art prints for Regionals. I kinda remember the Yog poster. Second place took a playmat of same potential Yog. A cultist among columns in a temple raises up his arms. He has his back to us and is in shadow. Before him a huge purple mass is alight rising above the chasm. At the time I thought it was a reprinted image from an old Yog spell. I forget the Shub poster. I think it was in the woods, but duh. Does this imply only the four Ancient Ones?

Tokhuah is right about those Ancient Ones. Y'Go and Yig are up there too. UT/LCG Yog can be summoned quick.

Anyone notice how similarly new Cthulhu is posed to the UT Cthulhu.
