Rifts and vortices

By zealot12, in Arkham Horror Second Edition

Can a rift move to a vortex? I assume it can't; doesn't make sense, really.

Unless things have changed, yes they can. They'll sit there, spewing out monsters as normal and adding doomers if possible, since the doomer is based on the color of the movement symbol, not the actual movement arrow.

Dam's right, but you're right too: it doesn't make sense. It would seem that Kingsport was never tested with Dunwich in play. When I put a rift in play, if the Mythos that "opened" it isn't an Arkham Location, I just draw Mythos cards until I get one.

Hey! This is a Kingsport question! Who let DAM answer a Kingsport question?! SECURITY!!!
