[spoiler] FAQ needs an errata!

By plutonick, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

Hey, am I the only one that found this part of the faq the makes no sense?

page nine, top of second row (Gathering Storm)

There are several patrols roving the area, however, under most circumstances, the PCs would only encounter one of the patrols
before the alarm is raised.

Gobbo Netter and Gobbo Clubber - rough description and then ‘See special action on page 77’ - which contains nothing at all about
Clubbing actions or Netting actions - any solution?

Is the FAQ asking me a question?

You may be correct, but please avoid posting spoilers in the main forum. Keep it to the GM forum.

Spoiler? It's part of the faq. Anyone not wanting to read the FAQ on the support page, can easily avoid a post with 'FAQ' in it's main title.

It might be considered a spoiler for the adventure, not for the FAQ.

Yeah, but then the faq can be considered spoiler. And if you avoid spoiler, therefore you avoid the FAQ, then you can easily avoid posts with titles that reference the FAQ in question.

I added

to the title now, but i cant move it to another forum. If it's necessary, then can a Mod do this?

while we're on the topic (FAQ needing an update) the combat example in the main text has Mellerion the wood elf (p. 61) firing a 'Rapid Shot' at a beastman in the forest and hitting. He doesn't add recharge tokens to a successfully hit Action Card, and it isn't addressed then or in the end of turn phase, which specifically mentions only having only one card with recharge tokens.

The FAQ only seems to address the impossible outcome roll for the dice pool presented, but not the actual problem with the recharge tokens. Anyone else see that (or did I miss something)?

I'm a player in the adventure but also using the FAQ, I just avoid the Gathering Storm part of the FAQ (something which is easy to do since I know it is there). I actually think it's a lousy idea to have adventure errata/faq in the same document as rules errata/faq. Not that it's a big problem, but I don't see the point, how hard can it be to have a separate document with faq/errata for GM only material?

Anyway, the post title is fine now.
