As stated inb the rulebook (page 67) the interrogator has access to any basic career path other than imperial psyker and tech-priest.

This brings up an important question, should the interrogator be able to pick, from the last few adept tables, psy rating 1 to 3?

It's a good question. Rules as written emphasise the word "any" but with the exclusion of any talents from the Imperial Psyker and Tech Priest classes suggests the intention was to block "weird" talents that require psychic or augmented abilities.

If a player asked me in an ascension campaign, I'd probably allow it. It's not like they're going to get a massive amount of Psy rating and powers from just the wild talents. You should send a question into FFG if you want official word.

I would consider allowing it only if the Interrogator in question had taken The Psyker's Gift trait as well; thus opening up the potential to develop a here-to-fore undetected psychic ability.
