Snow Graves

Do I have to have a shub card resourced into a domain in order to play Snow Graves?

Or is Snow Graves playable without having a shub card resourced?

I ask because there isn't any shub faction symbols next to the title so it seems to me that it is playable with shub being resourced.

You do not need to have a Shub resource. Somewhere in the rules it talks about 0 cost cards not needing to make a resource match.

You don't HAVE to have a matching resource as you don't drain a domain to play cards that cost zero. So, the majority of the time its practically a neutral card except that it is even better if you play shub cards!

However, if an effect would increase the cost for you to play it then you would need a shub resource. For example, if Tithe Collector is in play and you had already played a card that phase, you would need to drain a domain with at least 1 shub resource.

Yeah alot of the other 0 cards with the faction symbol next to the card title (endless interrogation for example) screwed me up into thinking that I had to have shub resourced.

Thanks for the clarification guys.

Or why it is even aligned to the Blackwood Agency for that matter.

Its a Hastur control card. *shrug* I assume its just because they want to make this a card for decks that have those two factions in it. I could ponder about 'why' all day, but no matter what I come up with I am always left scratching my head.

Sure The illustration was made long ago and they thank :

- Hey, They're doing a pretty hard interogation, this card must be in the cop faction!

- good idea! It's soo fun!

- Yeah but, discard insn't a hastur main mechanic?

- Does it matters? Well , let's put a hastur steadfast on it then!

- So cool! We're really the best at what we do!

- Sure bub!

I think it might also be a part of "Good Cards Migrate to Agency" movement initiated by Steve Clarney. gui%C3%B1o.gif
