Martell.

By Invicturion, in 4. AGoT Deck Construction

Hi all.. Sorry if this has been asked before, but i am having difficoulties with the House Martell expantion.. I just cant seem to

get my head around how the deck should be build up.. The cards seem kinda random to me somehow.. Does anyone have an

idea where i can find a good build for Martell? without sacrificeing from the other core sets..?

Check out this forum thread for a Martell deck that did well at the national championship, about three posts down: www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_foros_discusion.asp

The simplest way to win in Martell is to build a deck based around the Red Viper. He is amazing. I have a similar version of the deck above, using more cards that came with the Martell expansion. My deck uses Wildfire Assault, Valar Morgulis, multiple saves for the Viper, and 3 copies of Blood for Blood. After I kill one of my own characters in the plot phase, I use Blood to take out any of their characters that survived.

Thx a bunch! =) i only have 1 core set and 1 each of LoW and KoS (and now ofcourse 1 PoS) so i cant really build a deck THAT imba.. but im trying to make one fairly similar without destroying my other decks.. (untouched baratheon, lanni, greyjoy and targaryen and Direwolves of the North)

Since this is a Martel thread, i was hoping for some help with my Martel deck. This is my first attempt at a Martel deck and im an extremely noobish player.

i play against a Lannister, Greyjoy and Stark deck. i won the game, but the Stark deck was built around the Blackfish and the Tullys and the only reason i was able to pull out the win was because i pulled Starve for Your King. When we play again i want to be better suited to deal with the multiple Tully characters claiming power, the massive amount of charcters he can put out in 2 rounds and the ability for him to really consistantly kill my lesser characters.

This is my question as well. Quite honestly I don't want to dump tons of money into this game and still have fun playing it. Not looking to play competitively, just some casual games with friends. I recently bought PotS expansion but I can't find a deck build anywhere that is made using just this set of cards. All I own besides this set is the base game and I really don't want to tinker too much with those sets.

Do you want a 45 card deck like the ones in the core set or a standard 60 card deck?
