Thats actually a great idea... Might we expand it a bit?
What we have now is almost 70 names in list. If we start a new thread where each one writes a short description (even few lines is enough) to go with the marine name we could actually get a very nice list of readymade NPCs for our games

I'd say, whomever finishes first starts up the thread? Something sufficiently clear enough to avoid double-threading, like 'CE Marine Backgrounds' ?

The idea of the backgrounds thread is excellent. Congrats to all who partecipated in the brainstorming. I will also contribute when i flesh out my character. To be honest i know more about the chapter i came up with (the Purple Hearts), than the actual character (even though it's my alter ego in the forums
