Anyone have any suggestions, comments or concerns?

Well, I have some doubts about this deck.

1) In my opinion there is too many duplicates of Baratheon brothers. If you use so many saving cards, then you don't need these duplicates. You could then exchange them for some rush cards, e.i. Fox's Teeth (they're very useful when you are first)

2) If you use R'hllor's Blessing you could increase your deck control by adding 3x Herald of the Stag.

3) Very useful for Power Rush deck is Martial Law attachment card. Cheaper than Formal Petition and also kneels attached location.

4) And last one. I would add two or three high STR cards to be shure of wining some important challenges (e.i. Host of Storms End or Army of the Faithful).

what about martial law and formal petition ?

I actually find that you want to triple the brothers they could be dead cards, but by that time there is a chance you are going to lose with Bara Rush anyway. The consistency early game FAR outweighs the risks later.

In addition, I would triple up on Melisandre as well. I play with her in my shadow bara deck and she is DEVASTATING. She increases the threat of all your royalty by a significant percent.

One concern I have is with your 0 and 1 coin drops. I think that highgarden refugees and bastard of robert are really good to have in there

I generally think you have a lot better stufff to do than cast R'hlorr's Blessing. It just doesn't give you enough ummph early.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the advice, I will definitely triple up on Melisandre. Martial Law was cut just due to space, it did not do enough to warrant a spot. If I am winning power challenges by 4+ strength, I am probably going to win anyways.

I was going to put in highgardens, but they just did not do enough. They usually ended up being claim fodder and really not doing any good.

I did swap out 1x Empty Throne for 1x Val Morhugalis. Favorite play, pop val, save all of my characters and win through renown. It is pretty sweet.

Updates were made to the deck above.

I valuate the Highgarden and Bastards of Robert a little differently. Claim fodder is a great usage for a 0 that's a virtual bodyguard for your guys that you care about but also, and to me more importantly, the cheap fodder guys let you have nicer setup phases. The more cards you put into your setup the more cards of your deck you see. The more cards you see, the better the chances of drawing into the true engine of the deck, which is your royalty.

You probably want herald of the stag here as well. I think someone else mentioned it, but it synergizes with your "cantrip" based strategy using r'hloorr's Blessing and Court advisor. Play herald, put a character on top of the deck, then play court advisor and draw that card to your hand.

A few cards you should IMO:

Jack of All Trades good but too slow

Make an Example decent, but Battle at the Wall is way better for what you're doing.

Iron Throne in a Baratheon the Wall deck, I think this is strong. In a rush deck? Notsomuch.

Hope that helps!

What do you do if your opponent runs Core Set Melisandre?
