My group has a question...What is the difference between sneak and evade?

Evade checks are a special type of sneak checks. I.e. all evade checks use your sneak base stat and are modified by evade or sneak boosting stats, but a sneak check would not be modified by +1 or +2 to evade items. That's the basic answer, I guess.
