Storage of game

By Jonny WS, in Tide of Iron

Hello, I am new to the Tide of Iron...I have played it before...once, as a demo but finally invested in it as well as all expansions.

I was just curious what people do for storage of the game. Is it possible to get all current expansions in the main game box? Is there room for the upcoming expansion?

Any help or pictures would be great, thanks :)

Go to boardgamegeek.com and look through the pictures they have, you might be able to get a few ideas from that. As for all of them fitting in one box i dont have the answer for that. I would assume that you could fit one maybe two expansions in the core box but i doubt a third.

no way 3 expansions fit into the main box. thats 30 boards before you add the new ones

I think I will be able to get the first two expansions in the main box, DoF and Normandy. When it comes time for FotB, I will have to re-think how I store and transport the game. I will eventually post pictures on BBG when I am finished.

I bought three Plano boxes (found in the fishing supplies area of Wal-mart or a sporting goods store) and have one for the Germans, one for the Anglo-Americans (I only own base and Days of the Fox) and another for tokens. Cards go in baggies. Sorry but I don't recall the model numbers of the Plano boxes, but all the parts I have so far fit in the original box...just.

I can almost fitt all expansion in the main box, but only almost.

But storage the game is in my opinion realy important. The setuptime and the joy of playing increases drastically if you can easily find the different units, markers etc. I use a box from IKEA with many rooms.

One word...

PLANO.

These storage cases are awesome! Each box have their own section dividers so that you can customize it almost any way you want.
