Not totally true. You can complete the Zealot career without ever buying/getting any insanities. You can also cure those you've get.

Alright, thanks, I did not get into it really.

Ps: I do know that some Witch-Hunters do cooperate with wizards in order to bring in particular dangerous sorcerers or renegades, I do hope that such team effort will bring the gap closer. it will serve the empire`s best interests.

In our WHFRP game, I play a Witch Hunter while another player plays a Bright Wizard. They actually teamed up very naturally as they complete each others very well. As my character use to say : "I am Sigmar's arm and you're the sword He wields." It makes a very powerfull team against any chaos creatures and cultists... and it keeps him (the wizard) under watchfull eyes, should he slips to chaos.

Ah it pleases me to hear. Such stories and that of Pedro Lunaris, encourages us all to think well for the Empire`s future. It was interesting reading, it makes for entertaining dynamics and a lot of roleplaying opportunites and party tension*.

As it is it looks like my party will have some of that dynamic, as the roadwarden in my group is pursuing a Witch Hunter career. And last night the final member of the party is going to play a Bright wizard.

*reckless spellcasting can often generate party tension, and a Bright wizard in particular is prone to doing just that, and often.gran_risa.gif

Ps: also read in the winds of magic that having a Grey wizard in a party usually increase party tension. If so that should also apply for amethyst wizards as well. what do you think of that guys? do you apply party tension, because someone is playing a sinister wizard?

I don't use the rule for gaining party tension when caster channels in reckless stance, so, no, I would not use auto-party-tension for just having a peculiar type of character in the group.

I tend to use Party Tension meter for... well, just that, Tension. So when the group first meets a band of undeads, when angry Beastmen try to smash down the door of the party's shelter, when objects start to fly on their own, when a character feels something touching his leg while traveling through a sinister swamp filled with dark waters, etc, this is when I increase the Party Tension.
