Gualdo - did someone kill your dogs and sheep?

not yet... i have to pay attention anyway ;-)

I love having Brotherhood...not sure about the mechanics yet and really disappointed in the 3/2 costing system (Targ just kills these type of characters).

~Maybe if there was a character that gave them +1 strength...and let you look at your opponent's hand or something? ;)

Yes please.

totally needs a reprint!

I'm interested in hearing about what players think of the non-brotherhood strategy cards...

Painted Dogswould you use them? Seem kinda weaksauce

Edric DayneI like him because you can play Martell influence event light. The bow influence holdings as they enter seems to hurt others as much if not moreso than Martell

Southron VesselThe potential for gold tricks seems fun. Does Rains of Autumn affect taking gold from your character and dumping into your pool?

The new Stark attachment....thoughts?

Those are just a few

~ Should also reprint that others plot that killed everything (cannot be saved)... just remove the requirement for 2 others plots in the used pile.

Too funny. But I wouldn't be opposed, especially as I never was able to get/buy/trade for your card, not a single copy (thank goodness for the LCG shift).

One thought - if I was designing, I would have made most of the Brotherhood characters House Baraheon (make Edric dual house Martell/Bara). Especially don't get how if your going to make the non-unique Bara, you don't make Beric Bara (since he's the Lord of one of the most powerful houses in the Stormlands). Otherwise, the abilities fit the characters pretty well, and they seem to mesh.

Ironically, he fails to have the Lord trait sad.gif

I don't know. Judging by the time period it seems that we're seeing them (last days of Beric, first days of Stoneheart) I'm not sure that I would say they were on any particular house's side any more.

They became pretty much their own group. They belonged to no house, they just carried out the king's justice.

He's still known as the lightning lord , nonetheless. His flavor text even refers to him at the the lightning lord!

Yup, not going to disagree there. Beric should be a Lord.

Yeah, they are carrying out the King's Justice - In Robert's Name.

That's why, in my view, I'd make most of them Baratheon - I view them as supporting the Robert 'branch' of the 3 bros.

Though I can certainly understand different viewpoints, and I know we'd all do things a bit differently. Just saying, in my alternate dimension where I'm designing the game, Beric would definitely have been Bara. I'd have kept Thoros nuetral, and made other brotherhood characters dual-house or nuetral as appropriate (Edric Martell/Bara, Tom Tully/Bara - yes, I'll again harp that in my version there would be 9 Houses, with Tully, Tyrell and Arryn completing the Great Houses).

LoB sighting!!! Woo-hoo!

I can see both points, but if this is concentrating on the Brotherhood later on in the books, I would agree with Neutral. They originally were carrying out justice on behalf of Bob, but they even pretty expressly say later on that they are not on any side aftering seeing the atrocities by all parties of the war.

Other than Bob sending them out, not one Baratheon had given them direct orders or even had direct contact I can remember...

Bob didn't send them out though. Eddard sent them out on the king's behalf. Sure, they are basically the same thing, but it's a difference if we are actually looking at what house did what.

I love the Dothraki cards that were released and have added them all and take some other cards, the dragons, out of my Targaryen deck from the core set to build a full 60 card deck. I hope the Dothraki get more cards this cycle after this pack even thought it will be back to the regular amount as some other trait will get its time in the spotlight. i love the idea of building a deck thats all horsemen from the steppes, I love the Mongols from our own history.
