So far I'm not sure that the Skirmishers cut it, although they are nice and cheap. Blessing of Valaya is a lot better in this deck than in an actual Dwarf deck because saving a Carnosaur Rider from Spite can be a savage beating. As it were.

i wonder if runesmith apprentice would be good here to give a more steady supply of your rune cards...

It doesn't really work. You have to be playing an ungodly number of runes for that card to work properly.

ah ok. I haven't tried it yet - thanks for the heads up :)

In my experiences Blessing of Valaya is working fine in a mono dwarf deck.

Yep, like I've said before, a lot of the time Blessing is a dead card but when it works it can win games. I just think that this deck makes better use of it than the Dwarves can - because otherwise your Savage guys normally won't survive combat.

do the lizards need to survive combat for their ability to trigger?

Yep. And it only zaps units in the corresponding zone too. So it's kinda hard to get good use out of it (although it's definitely possible).

Lure Them Out is pretty good here because if you have a Carnosaur in the BF you can often get a 2-for-1 for 1 resource, which is a really good deal. I may go up to 3.
