I'm finally reading Terry Pratchett's Colour of Magic, as I found the book on a cafe's shelf with the BookCrossing announcement. I'm impressed to see how much it can inspire GMastering, specially the descriptions of Mage Sight. The Eight Colour, octarine, seems just like Warhammer's winds of magic (even if it is just one colour). It actually blows, but without making any leaf flow, and emanate from things magical or magically-touched. And it also sometimes carry emotions or reverbarations, coming to reality when passing through places that magic is usually done, like places where it gets to the world.
