i remember seeing a ruling on it before but im not sure which it was. on him and his support, when confronted with something like "X equals your momentum minus your opponents momentum halved (rounded up)" is it, with x being your momentum and y being your opponents momentum, x-y/2 or (x-y)/2
siegfried and his support
If it says 'the total of...' you do that part first, otherwise you do it in proper mathematical order. So your momentum minus your opponent's momentum halved would mean
x - y/2
So, just to clarify, since I love playing Siegfried.
(Y = your momentum, T= their momentum)
E ability = Y - T/2
Should have read "X equals your momentum minus half of your opponent's momentum (rounded down)."
E = Y + T/2
Should have said "X equals your momentum plus half of your opponent's momentum (rounded down)."
People think it is E = (Y + T) /2,
which would read "X equals half of the total of your momentum plus your opponent's momentum (rounded down)."
E = 2 x (Y - T)
This is the only card that was printed correctly IMO.

People think correctly. The fact that it says "total of" means that you add the two momentums before dividing the total by 2.
At least that's how it was ruled on the old forums.
The old forums got a bit indecisive, so I'm no clear on the result either.
If so, then dang, I thought simple math meant division comes before addition. Can we get an official clarification on this?
Preferably on all three, because now even I'm getting confused =/
Good sirs and rules arbiters - may we please have an official air-clearing on this one?
Because I'm totally not official at all, I'm not going to refer you to my post above...?
So then, to clarify them all:
Y = your momentum; T = their momentum
Siegfried = Y - (T/2)
Flying Edge = (Y + T) / 2
Inner Turmoil = 2 * (Y - T)
Correct? (wasn't a snub, just wanted clarification on all three)
Yessir, that would be correct.
Aww rats, I'm wrong. I'm only human, after all. And as they say, Pobody's Nerfect.
