thx thorondor to make this happens ;-)

LG, Thomas

in an american forum should be great to speak english :-)

Oh, I speak English all the time, but nobody on the forums ever seems to hear me. So I decided to write something in German, and suddenly there is an answer ! So why do you suggest I should continue to speak Englishgui%C3%B1o.gif ?

loool... or better italian so i can understand better ;-)

Well..... I don't know if you ever played Portuguese opponents, but you probably will this time!!! (At least some of you will.)gui%C3%B1o.gif

The location seems SUPERB, and I'm just finishing some details at work, so I'll almost certainly be there (I want to go so muuuuuuuch!... despite the fact that I've been playing for about a month and a half, only.)

With me I'm probably taking (or they'll go of their own accordlengua.gif) some more guys and gals. We'll see you there! gran_risa.gif

Great ;-) I love portugal so we can speack about also tourism :-)

thats the way to go!!

las tyear we had two portugese players for WHI/COC. but you are the first AGOT players.

I wonder how many people from Germany will come... I might be the only one (I have to force somebody from Oldenburg.)

Well, as stated above, I will probably be there on Saturday for the big LCG tournament.

I would also expect to see at least some German players from Munich and Nuremberg.

Do you remember were they were from?

As a matter of fact, I've been meaning to ask here: does one have to be qualified to participate in the events? I'm thinking no, as I don't see any reference to it in the Tournament Page, but I just wanted to be sure!

I'll be at your service! gran_risa.gif

Seriously, despite being small (and self-praise aside), Portugal has some fantastic sites to visit. I'll be glad to point you to them ;)

The only qualification you need is to drag yourself to Stahleck. No preliminary tournaments, etc...

An interesting point to highlight might be that for the Melee tournament the Kingsmoot titles seem to be used.

Remembering that the last years Kingsmoot tournament was a bit chaotic (thanks to a crappy tournament organiser: myself sad.gif), and since I can't really recall the method I used to determine which player gets how many points, I was wondering if we could get some details concerning the point distribution, or the general flow.

Luxembourg will this year probably be represented by 3 Thrones players (and 1 WH:I player).

Can't wait...

Jeko

I think the new update on tournament rules will help you a lot these times

LOL, the Kingsmoot was cool and chaotic. gran_risa.gif

Backstabbing all the way....

@Jeko They actually balanced the problems you mentioned last time - a prophet in our midst.

thorondor said at the moment we have more than 50 players for AGOt and since the tournament is in october there is time to increase... it should be interesting :-)

Hehe! Yeah, Portugal will be at least represented in Stahleck!;) Congratulations you have a very nice castle there! I'm looking forward to meet the place and to participate in my first aGoT tournament! :)

updated... today 60 players :-)

Wow ! Already 60 players ? I have to urge my French mates to make their reservation before there is no room left. gran_risa.gif

Anyway, I will attend this year, and I'm so excited about it !

even a little bit more now ...

you really should be quick, cause i am already running out of room. maybe i can get some more at the castle, but thats not sure.

final option: mattress on the floor in the Knighs Hall (where we are playing). saves you a lot of time no having to move from the Knights Hall to a room and back again.

As in every year prior, I will express my sincere jealousy on the people going to this.

As in every year prior, I will say 'someday I will be playing in this!'. :)

as in every year prior, on seeing this announcement i said to myself, "if i had as much money as rings likely does, i'd be going to this *for sure*" :-P

If I had as much money as ring I would come to Gencon :-)

This is a hard world... next year we can exchange experiences :-)

And...

... the portuguese crew goes up to 8 players! I'm so happy that we're all going! I hope to have loads of fun with both my buddies as with everyone I'll meet there! I can't wait!... :D :D
