It appears that the Hammerzeit site is closed down or the account has been suspended? This leaves us without a 'single' repository for fan-made stuff.
Thoughts?

Yeah, I noticed this too. Does anyone know why the site is gone?
All I can mention is that the original owner of the site had asked for someone to take over ownership a few months back. Apparently, someone did take over and a few posts were made on their forums along the lines of: "What do you want to see on our site?" with few responses. Nothing else occurred after that, until shutdown.
That's sad. I really liked the layout and setup of that site; I just think it needed some more definition and advertising on other sites. Any chance that either of the owner(s) will come back?
Whoah. I seriously missed that.
Sorry guys! I've been quite busy with my first baby and haven't had a lot of time to check what's going on in the interwebz. I still have a lot of unused webspace so if I'll find the time I can resurrect Hammerzeit. Though not in all of it's glory as I seriously hate drupal whit which the page was build.
What would you think about a wordpress blog to which you could sign in as creators? Check my signature "our gaming blog" for reference how it could be done. As it's I can't promise much in ways of upkeep but I would think that a blog with lot of creators could support itself. If I could find a plug-in for uploading file to the blog. If not I can always do it manualy.
I'm growing to love WFRP3 with every game I play so I'm more than willing to but my two pences into it. However there's always The Lurker at the Threshold (certain gaming company with interests to protect it's intellectual rights with a fury of a Sigmarite zealot...) so I'm hoping it wouldn't rise any furious counter attacks.
Ideas, comments?
I'll get back to this at the end of the week. At least I really really really hope I can.
Sounds great Doc, though I don't understand your blog example-the link is to a StS topic. An excellent topic at that.
Heh. It was formerly to our blog. Try the other links. They should take you there. I hate copy/paste with this forum...
sorry to hear that is so.
But I am also a bit confused. Hammerzeit was (is? going to be again?) the primary fansite for WFRP FFG version. But the other day I visited Strike to Stun which by the way is an fantastic site. that site even tough being a fan site for all the previous edition of warhammer, also support the FFG version.
My question is do we need two such great fansites both for warhammer? or should we* perhaps merge them into one? wouldn`t that be the most customer friendly for any fans of warhammer? finding all on just one site?
I like to write things for warhammer, and I even submited an article or two for hammerzeit. Can I submit the same articles for StS also?
And the new Liber Fanatica edition, I certainly want to contribute to that one, to whom should I make my request?
sincerly

ps: I sometimes need to be spoon fed.
*by we I mean the splendid guys who makes both fansites possible.
