Release dates: Edge of Night & Signs of Faith

By Monkus, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

I was just wondering if anyone knows how reliable pre-order dates are for Maelstrom Games, as I see they have release dates up for Edge of Night (28/08/10) and Signs of Faith (30/10/10), along with dates for Deathwatch and the new Rogue Trader book 'Into the Storm'.

I thought these seemed slightly more plausible as release dates than the hopeless Amazon listings, although that is probably merely wishful thinking on my part. :)

I'm not familiar with the retailer, but those dates look about like what I've been seeing elsewhere. SoF in late October or early November and EoN sometime before that. I'm thirsty for more, and want to get both right now, though I guess my wallet will appreciate the slight respite.

Ok, so I'm sure of the releas date fo Edge of Night it's 28/08/2010 (I talked to my FLGS and they confirmed that). But I don't know what about the Signs Of Faith. At the seminar Jay said that it will be released shortly after GenCon, for me shortly mean in end of August or in September but there is no official date. So we have to wait.

Thanks guys..

I contacted one of the stores I have bought WFRP from in the past and he indicated that Edge of Night and Signs of Faith are both scheduled for Q3 2010 i.e. released by 30 September 2010. He added the proviso that FFG release dates are notoriously unreliable... :)

For UK gamers, he stated list prices for the two were £24.99 and £34.99 respectively. So, taking into account the 25% discount offered by several UK webstores, that clocks in at just under £19 for Edge of Night and £26 for Signs of Faith. I'm wondering if the latter is correct, as I assumed that SoF would have the same price point as WoM, which was £40 (£30 with discount).

The updates page just changed to show EoN as Now Shipping, with SoF still at the printers.
