I have noticed that Challara and Brightblaze hero from DungeonQuest is on rectangle base.

Does it mean that it will fight different then other heroes?

Should we look now on space with rectangle?

I noticed that too, and thought it was odd. I can only assume the reason the base is different is to fit Brightblaze around her feet. In any case, the Runewars hero card shows a circle beside the health value, just like every other hero and unit who fights with a circular base, so I would say no, she's still a circle-based figure rules-wise.

Edit: Although having said that, heroes who use different base types would be pretty cool as an expansion idea, though it would also rule out simply recycling older heroes into RW.

Actually, I think Heroes that use Rectangles on Fate cards, while they may be slighly better at straight-up damage, would suck at using items - any other hero that has a potent item would be able to destroy them fairly handily, and if the rectangle-based heroes had an item, other heroes would be less scared of them being able to use it. It would make them a target for theft.
