Career Completion Advances and more

By W1nterKn1ght, in WFRP Rules Questions

Hi

a)

when I paly a thug, I can raise my wound threshold by one with the Fixed advances of the General Career Advance. Then I can raise it by two (for a total of three) by the open Career Advances. Spending 1 exp each for the three. So far I understood the rules ( I hope). But i am pretty sure.

b)

Now may I spend more exp to raise my wound threshold above this three advances or do i have to change the career?

Thanks for your time

WK

You need to change career. There are no out-of-career wound raises in the RAW*.

*Except an option in the GM toolkit which iirc lets you buy an out-of-career wound advance if you're brought to 0 wounds.

a) Correct

b) You have to change the career. As far as the Thug is concerned, you can't purchase more than 2 wound advances (that's the limit), plus 1 thanks to Fixed Career advances.

I suggest to read the FAQ.

Cheers

Thank you guys for answering so fast.

That is how I understood the rules, just wanted to be sure.

@monkyelite: Yeah I rememner reading that.

@Armoks: thanks for answering it even if it in the FAQ. I can live with a RTFF but the answer is yes. gui%C3%B1o.gif
