well today i got told two bits of news neither good from a mate who works in a distribution centre they got the books but aren't allowed to send it out and from my local shop he is not getting it till mid october which sucks as i will be deployed in afghan then and wanted the book before i go

Curses! I too have just learned from my FLGS that the DW tome is delayed until mid sept. Clearly this is some nefarious xenos plot, meant to incite rage and uprisings in the huddled nerd masses!

Edit: For the record, Amazon's entry has changed to "Fantasy Flight Games; Brdgm edition (September 28, 2010)" where it previously stated Sept 7th.

Amazon still lists my delivery estimate as Sept 9th; however, I fully expect to receive the apologetic email telling me that the delivery date needs to be updated to a later date to arrive any day now.

you will need to have a look around the 26th of October.

Just think, at this rate thay will be releasing the suppliments before the core rules gets released.

there must have been a serious quality issue and a reprint i reccon. the ship would have gone twice round the globe what with how long she has been at sea. that or it is pirates....

Probably just hoping more people buy the limited edition bad ass ness.

If that were the case, they would be better off getting the standard edition to the vendors as quickly as possible, so as to "force" those getting the CE to be impatient enough to also buy the regular book as well.

I'm still crossing my fingers that some vendor at Dragoncon 2010 will have a copy somehow.
