Hey, anyone in the Athens to Atlanta, GA area that wanna play Warhammer Invasion or Call of Cthulhu? I am pretty new to the LCG gaming system. I played M:tG forever and wanted a change so now I'm trying to find any and all players in the surrounding areas to get a group together. I am willing to meet halfway or trade off driving to each other. Also, I will be at DragonCon this year and would love to play anyone going to the event.

Can't call tonight, I have a bunch of stuff around the house I gotta do and then I work the rest of the week. I seriously wanna play though! I will call you as soon as I have a night. Probably Sunday night? Does that sound good?

Not sure how far a trip to Augusta is, but we are holding an event on Sun the 24th of October. We'd be happy to see you there!

This is he. And I will probably have Brett with me again too. and MAYBE 2 other people. I'll hopefully be in a better mood this time, I'm pretty sure I acted a little pissy last time and I'm sorry, but this time I should have a deck that I didn't make one stupid mistake and screw up COMPLETELY. lol

I'm just happy that we can get others to come out. I enjoy out of town players. It gives a play experience we don't normally have. I'm kind of tired of playing Harliquine and I'm sure he's pretty tired of playing me. We usually have to play our third tier decks against each other just in order to keep things different. It'll be good to see you guys again.

In the interest of fairness to out of towners, what's the meta like? All Dwarves? or are people using Undead w/DE or Chaos? People still holding strong to HE decks? or do Skaven still run amok?

dwarfs are popular here, but mostly different incarnations. We have some players that enjoy chaos and Dark elves as well.

Any Warhammer fans in Athens, GA or Atlanta area!
