Good to here that there's nothing wrong, but...........

Shipping each copy with a Dead thing in it, is gross...lol

i think you meant "Tome", not "Tomb" as in "Coffin", FFGSteve.

I would have so made a more sarcastic quip than that. gran_risa.gif

I don't know where your friend got his information from but it is completely false. The three hundred copies we shipped to Gen Con were planned to sell out and sent to the the show to spark interest and excitement in the book and has nothing to do with the thousands of books heading to Europe for sale, nothing has changed or been diverted because of Gen Con. Stay tuned to the web site for details as we get closer to the launch of this awesome tome.

Thanks for clearing that up. It already made me wonder how many copies FFG would have sold at Gen Con.

Thank you for clearing that up. As I said, I trust the guy, but when it comes to things like this I consider gossip from a convention to be exactly that, gossip and unreliable.

Praise Be to Saint Watson and his minions! It is just the Chinese ship transporting the blessed cargo in their junks. **** those heretical rumor mongers. We must watch that N0_1 chappy, it would seem he is being corrupted by the afformentioned Heretical Rumor Daemon worshipers who started this all..

Tell them to row quicker!!! Us spoilt westerners want our goodies, NOW!!!

So now all is out and clear. Us Brits just have to play the waiting game and see which dates wins mid September or late September or beging of October . Right i'm of to play a bit more invasion before i get distracted with deathwatch.

Mr Horvarth, thank you very much for posting and clearing this all up for us.

I was beginning to get worried that my "DW" fix was never going to get here...... gran_risa.gif

It is quite common for companies to ship hot products "by air" to important trade shows in order to make sure that a limited supply is available to those who attend the show. Meanwhile, the rest of the print run is on the boat from China.

This is very common practice. Take PEG's 1889 Savage Worlds book at Gen Con. They had copies enough to sell there, but the book won't be widely released until November.

I am not worried about "release delay," but that doesn't mean I don't suffer from Gen Con envy.

Why does the upcoming page show that the Deathwatch title was updated on 08/11/2010 when there is no visible update to the product status?

Just checking in case I am missing something really simple.

By the way FFG design team, love the work and can't wait to see the Deathwatch product. My group and I have been waiting 19 years for this opportunity, thank's for making dreams come ture aplauso.gif

I know it sounds korny everyone but I am just so damned excited I can barely contain myself. gran_risa.gif

Heading for Europe.... Does that mean they're already shipping? He asked hopefully.
