Favorite Marine card or card combos?

I'm posting this because I'm curious about others' favorite cards or card combos. Not necessarily the best, just your favorites and why. For example, my favorite card is Efficient Killer. It's not the most powerful card, but for me it relieves a LOT of pressure as far as ammo goes. If anyone in the game draws it, I immediately feel a little bit better. Anyone else want to share?

My bro's favourite is probably Spec Ops and Marksman, which both add to the BFG's potential.

My friend's favourite is recon and scout, since they let him move extra AND go through my invaders, leading to fast escapes.

I don't have a favorite, since my favorite is... the Invader Cards

My favorites are marksman and spec ops.Also i like perfect aim,because it allows to make one attack a turn aimed.

No one else cares to weigh in? I'm hoping to see some reasons why people may like cards that I think are worthless or dislike cards that I think are pretty good. As for combos, here's one I like: Efficient killer+Officer+Special Ops. Mix in one helping of shotgun, stir (gently!), and let (the invader) stew. Serves one to a whole bunch (unless your shotgun breaks). You have a guaranteed range of 2 and never have to worry about ammo. You can deal a max of 12 damage at range two or up to 8 damage at range 7! lol...or if another marine has Officer and you have Sniper and an Aim order...! I'm hoping to hear some ideas that I haven't thought of yet from other people.

Killer Instinct + Ground Assault + Special Ops= Maximum carnage.

Lithe+Recon + Scout= Lighting fast movement.

Never have to worry about ammo? How's that? Unless you're talking about hitting with your punch or chainsaw...

By the way, I love sniper, marksman and tactical. Allows you to place the aim order, keep moving and hit invaders from far far away. There you have a combo not wasting ammo, while you can shoot and move every turn. Not to speak about throwing grenades with those abilities...

Efficient Killer will leave you with at least 1 shell/bullet ammo at all times, you cannot lose your final ammo for any reason (and no you cannot give it out), so basically you never run out of Machine Gun/Shotgun/Chaingun/Pistol.

That is why I always buy my games in their original language, be it computer or board games...

Anyway, here's the full text of Efficient Killer:

"You always have at least 1 shells/bullets ammo token. You cannot lose or give your final shells/bullets ammo token away. In addition, when you use a weapon that uses shells/bullets ammo, it gains (deadly) and (accuracy)."

Here's one of my friend's favorites, and I'm sure you've all thought of it, too: Perfect Aim+Alert+Assassin. Two aimed attacks, one on your turn and one on the Invader's, both with +1 range and +3 damage. He was talking about this combo one day before playing and the luck bast, er, I mean fellow actually drew it! We were playing with the Well-Trained mod, and those were the first three cards he drew. He didn't even want to draw his last card. "I'm good!" he said, but we made him draw his last one anyway. He said that he didn't care what it was, that he had his three cards, and that he didn't need to look at it. Yup, his fourth card was Tough. partido_risa.gif Of course, I was sitting there with Scout, Marksman, Survival Ops, and Prepared (hands down my pick for worst marine skill!). Agreed regarding the computer games. As for the board games, not all my friends can speak or read english fluently ("Spain is different"), so I'm forced to buy the translation rather than the original (even if I'd like to, specially when I look at the awfull translation for the weapons in "Doom")...

umm hello everyone, im here today to make a little quest for all of us who love doom the boardgame, well it is also a quest for 'best marine card combo' digger - so im here cuz i read bout this idea very long time ago, and today i got vision of nice shapes of it, BUT main reason im here is - im here with my types of my marine card combo, what i want You to do is not only read this and think but get Your most needed combos and write them here to make a selection of 'best of the best' of course we have to mantain card limit so we cant put 3xspecial op :) so the rules are simple - this is my little step thats why i think that we together shall decide which ones r the best. quest is simple - get your 28 marine skill card and make 6 (plus maybe some more) most effective marine combinations.

i think of it like this

1. marksman + assassin + sniper

2. efficient killer + special ops + front guard

3. marksman + perfect aim + killer instinct

4. ground assault + tactician + special ops

5. alert + officer + crack shot

6. tech op + recon + scout

7. survival ops + tough + lithe

of course we have to not forget that quest is to create 6 awesome marines but not forget that max number of marine in play is 3 so try balance them or make them create like a team but also not so weak without a buddy at your back.
