Can you play this game all by yourself or do you need to be at least two players?

Without being blunt. It's a role playing game. At it's most basic level it requires a 1 GM and 1 Player.

Ok. I had to ask. WHFR looked so cool and i dont have many friends that likes roleplaying games! Is it the same with all roleplaying games by FFG?

It's the same with all roleplaying games, period...not just FFG's RPGs. You need at least 1 person to "GM" or control the story, and 1 person to control the hero.

The closest you're going to get really is Warhammer Quest if you want a Warhammer RPG that you can play solo.

That's not actually totally true.

There were, in the early 90', solo RPG books called "Choose your own adventure books".

This isn't the same experience as group RPGs and it's not WHFRP but it could be fun anyhow.

Recently, Mongoose Publishing has reedited the books, so you might be interested in looking that out :

There's also free versions of some of those book on the net :

Well, yes. I played quite a few choose your own adventure books back in the day. I wouldn't call those RPGs, though. That's like saying a CRPG (computer RPG) is an RPG. There's a reason that the "C" is added, because it is different, although it draws elements from RPGs.

Nope, you will need 2 players min (1 GM 1 Player). I would say that (1GM 3 Players ) is the best mix.

This is actually not true at all.

Even today there are still solo scenarios/storys/adventures for RPGs, a perfect and probably the best example is "Das Schwarze Auge" (The Dark Eye).
It is very successful with their solo adventures, since many many years, and sometimes i really do enjoy em alot. Would be nice to have it for WHFRPG 3 as well, but i doubt it will ever happen.

DSA (Das Schwarze Auge) can be compared to D&D4, thought DSA has "by far!" more content and stuff to buy.

You can also try using the Mythic GM Emulator (look on google/ drivethru rpg).

It lets you play without a GM, or to make life easier for a GM. Works quite well.
