Not too thrilled by the Magus, basically "Gladiator for Craft/psychic combat".
EDIT: Good point in the other thread, shocked Magus can't attack in psychic combat.

This was pointed out by the playtesters that the Magus should be able to attack in psychic combat. However we don't always get our way!

Whats your take on the Magus Ell?
After playtesting the Magus with the "Spell" ability and "Psychic Combat" ability it was felt to be more balanced if he were limited to one or the other.
I have posted in another thread about why this really isn't that big a deal in the scheme of things! 
I acknowledge this might be obvious, but I noticed that one of the new characters is a "Cleric". I just haven't seen anyone mention it yet, so...now its been mentioned. I'm just basically excited like everyone else about a new expansion !

There is a new illustration available on Talisman Island. It is featuring someone, that we actually may well know... You won't be disappointed seeing it!

Is anybody else disappointed that the Magus figurine doesn't appear to have the bald guys carrying his chair?
Nah, not really. Just imagine the miniature being the Magus at the start of his quest, with the indoctrinated followers carrying his chair coming along later on!
The swamp lady looks great!
