If during a battle the Big'Uns card is assigned 2 damage does it die or does it trigger the cards effect of giving damaged units you control 1 toughness? The card # is 67 in the Orcs core set. Thanks for any help

It will die, because the ability only kicks in if the unit already has damage on it. Going from 0 to 2 dmg kills it right away.
