2 final battle questions

By Drakson, in Arkham Horror Second Edition

1. If you are blessed or cursed would you use that in final battle. Would you have to roll in upkeep for it if you were blessed. I haven't been able to find this anywhere. I know YIG would curse you (so that you would not be blessed) and if you were cursed then you are devoured. So it seems like you could use you Blessing if for example fighting another AO.

2. In final battle are all rolls cumulative. For examble if fighting YIG with 3 investigators you would need 30 successess. If in round one there were a total of 7 successes you would remove 2 doom tokens and "save one" for the next round. I have watched the videos and seen them do it that way but the rules book also says the successes are reset (but I may be reading it wrong).

I love this game!

1. Blessings and curses remain during final battle (as of now, only retainers and bank loans are discarded), however you make your roll for each of them during the final battle upkeeps.

2. All rolls are cumulative for final battle. The part where it tells you "reset... to zero" on page 22 of the manual is for accounting purposes, it's not telling you to ignore extra successes that are only a fraction of a doom token in between rounds.

Thanks for the answers. Things sometimes makes more sense when someone else says it. Lots of good people in these forums answering questions. I appreciate it.

BTW did I say I love this game!
