Into the Storm has Astropath Choir Chambers, chambers designed for the Astropaths. I was calling this a Cloister one one vessel.
When I draw out ships I place the command quarters near the bridge. If possible, I place a Navigators Sanctum and an Astropaths Choir Chamber in seperate towers adjoining the bridge. I place numerous buildings on the top of the hull, smaller one to three story structures which may have served more technical purposes 20,000 years ago but are now used by the "Crew City". I always have a central corridor running the length of the ship, which sometimes goes around the central bridge/command tower, which descends through the hull to the bottom of the ship.
What I am working on are "modular" rooms for a ship, such as a standard cathedral, a standard medibay/hospital (in 6 different sizes), an engine room layout, a bonded crewmans quarters, a staff officers quarters, and so forth. I imagine a command suite being four or five stories, with dozens of rooms and galleries. A bridge is pretty easy. I hope to post the pics for the Ghasts Menagerie Adventure areas, since I think these are pretty cool.
