Do anyone else think the Ring is way too powerful to simply be called 'Ring'? I think, for a ring which gives the same bonuses as a frickin' unicorn, it deserves a better name, such as "Ring of Greatness" or "Ring of Power" or "Ring of being as Awesome as a Unicorn".

Actually, not that Highlands is out, I think the Unicorn is totally overpowered. I mean, HL has an Object called Horns of Power which gives +1 Str and Craft. HornS as in multiple, pansy-Unicorn has just one and still gives the same bonus !
Heh heh! Yes, those double bonus items (and followers) are highly sought after. I've always wondered if they shouldn't be Treasures (or now Relics). The Ring has spurred more CvC that most cards in our games... well, except for the Runesword... and the dumb thumpers that are desperate for the Crown.

My brother has actually gone to the Mystic on several occasions with a Good character in the hopes that he'd turn Evil, just so that he'd be able to pick up the Runesword if it should emerge. Naturally, his least liked character is the Knight.
Hmmm... I think one advantage to a big Adventure deck is that these items may not come up every game. Keeps it all uncertain.

Yeah, the Unicorn is totally OP! They need to come out with a 'Multicorn' in the next expansion just to showcase that, and an 'Alluring Virgin'+'Unicorn Hunter' to balance them.
They could call it the "Ring of Fire" and introduce a new Follower called the "Man in Black"
that would allow you to take it from any player... Would also automatically get you into a fight with the Farmer at the Tavern...

Not to mention that you would be "imprisoned" at the Temple on every other visit or so...
