Career advancement and Full Auto rule discrepancy

Hey guys, I need some help with the full auto burst rule for ranged weapons, there seems to be some kind of discrepancy between rules on page 189 and page 190. on page 189 it says one additional hit for every degree of success, on page 190 is says one additional hit for every 2 degrees of success. so which one is the real rule?

I had initially thought the table was a misprint since every other rules that makes mention of full auto burst indicate that is it 2 degree of success, like it was outlined for the "example" section for dodge.

however after some thoughts, I concluded that it would be impossible, considering an autogun has a Rof of 10 and even at 100 BS at most you would only be able to hit with 5, so does anyone have a more definitive rule on this?

And also is it possible for players to pick skills and talents that are from their previous ranks? I couldn't find rules on that, so if anyone knows please tell me

Full auto burst: The errata clarifies it. You get an extra hit for every degree of success.

Skills from previous ranks: Top of page 42: You may buy Advances from any Rank Advancement Scheme that you currently or have previously held.

More specifically:

Full Auto grants one extra hit per Degree of Success(DoS) up to a max number of hits equal to the full auto rate of fire (10 in your example).

Semi Auto grants one extra hit per two DoS up to a max number of hits equal to the semi auto rate of fire.
