The encounter card allows the OL to place a Master Bane Spider as the leader and six Bane Spiders and two Master Razorwings as minions. However, the location accomodates only six of the seven spiders.
What happens to the spider that can´t be placed? Does the OL simply lose it? Is he allowed to place it outside of an entrance of the location?
The rules seem to be silent on this issue.
Maybe you should count it as a free reinforcement spider and just put it off the board outside one of the exit spaces.
The base game rules state that any monsters that can't be placed are lost. The campaign expansion does not seem to override this rule, so I would say the spider is lost...
