FAQ v1.2
Yes indeed! Just in time for GenCon.
The fix for The Night is good and clean.
The answer in the FAQ for Twilight Gate is a good conclusion, but not a good explanation.

Not a good enough explanation?
The rules state that the cards take precedence to the rules, this is a simple restatement of that fact. I thought it was perfectly adequate.

I agree with TheProfessor. It's the right ruling, but the explanation is poor. Nothing on the card itself actually has the card taking precedence over the rules. Now, if Twilight Gate said something like "While this card is being evaluated, cards attached as resources have keywords such as 'Ancient One' if it is printed on the card" that'd be fine, and that'd be the card taking precedence. The specific rules in question is that cards don't have a textbox when on a domain and that the Ancient One keyword (or trait, i can never remember the difference) is part of the text box. (This is different than the Shocking Transformation in that there's not a ruling that specifically says what a card has and doesn't have in the deck)
Or, if they explained the rule with a general statement such as "When cards search through the deck or resource for a card with a specific qualifier or non-qualifier, then for the purposes of evaluating the card, those cards have the relevent text box parts" then that would be the right conclusion and a good explanation.
Also, once again, let me say I *100%* agree with this ruling.
There's a mistake on the Book of Eibon and Obsessive Research FAQ qualification by the way. Says both players discard down to 5 after drawing to 8. Not just the player who has the Book on their character.
That has got to be the most eye candy Ive ever seen in a FAQ! I love seeing the artwork, I just wish there was a pure text printable version, to save on printer ink. Guess I have a lot of "cut and paste" ahead of me...
This IS where the horror begins!
They usually release a "printer-friendly" version. I assume FFG wanted this out before GenCon and posted it quick quick. Hopefully something less colorful is on the way.
