Quickest Game Ever?

By #%$!$#%!, in Talisman

We were playing the Highlands expansion for the first time last night and I was dealt the Rogue. The first card she turned over was the carnival and ended up ferrying across the river.

She then landed on the warlock's square and went on a quest to find a magic item, which was found in due hast and became the lucky owner of a talisman.

On her next turn she found a staff of mastery and then proceeded to charm a Str5 monster. The next turn she ended up battling the Lord of the Pit, using the charmed creature for a straight roll off and won, so she ended up in the inner region.

Taking her chances with the mines (as Cerebus was guarding the portal of power) , the rogue with her craft of 3, managed to roll 1, 1, 1 to stay where she was.

After that she only lost two wounds as she progressed to the Crown of Command for the Battle Royal ending, where no one else had a talisman.

So I completed the game without any stat increases. We were laughing all the way through, fantastic game, despite the quick ending.

Round 1 - Warlock rolls 6 and lands on hidden valley. Draws warhorse, gnome and talisman.

Round 2- Warlock casts temporal warp for three turns.Picks it up again with spell call. Warlocks moves and passes through portal of power on one dice.

Second turn navigate mines on 2 and 3 on dice, third turn loses 1 life to vampire.

Round 3- Casts temporal warp. Defeats 3 pit fiends in battle with his strength 7 thanks to warhorse.

Second turn, enters valley of fire. Third turn, lands on crown, with hand of doom as ending. Rolls a 6, killing all other players.

Game Over in 3 rounds.

Wow, that's insane! We've never had anything similar happen at our games.
