Initiate of Saphery's healing question

By Redeemer31, in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

I was wondering if I could get some clarification to the interpretation of the card's text.

For Initiate of Saphery, it says:

"Kingdom. Action: At the beginning of your turn, heal 1 damage from each unit you control."

Now let's say I have two more units in play, one that is damaged and one that is not.

The beginning of my turn occurs and I have Initiate of Saphery in play in my kingdom. Can I heal my other units?

The reason why I ask is it says "heal 1 damage from each unit you control". What if I can't heal a unit because it is not damaged? Does that mean since I cannot heal a unit, therefore the effect does not happen because the conditions have not been met?

Or can I simply heal my damaged unit and nothing happens to my undamaged unit?

I am thinking that it is probably the latter but if I were to be very nitpicky, I think that it could be argued that I cannot heal at all then.

Thanks!

It just heals your damaged unit and the effect does not trigger for the undamaged unit. It either triggers (or not) for each unit you control. Thus, if you have 2 damaged units, it triggers twice, once for each unit it heals. And you are otherwise correct that you cannot heal a unit which doesn't have damage on it.

Ah okay. I was thinking that it only triggers once for all units (it either fulfills the criteria as a whole or not), not a case-by-case examination of each unit.

Thanks!
